Our goal is to make you pieces that are graceful, elegant and delight with a sprinkle of sparkle.

We make pieces for brides, for your entourage, and for your other special occasions.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

QUEENIE REYES MANZANO is a Filipina designer based in Makati (Metro Manila, Philippines).

Starting out drawing doodles in the blank spaces of her notebooks since she was in pre-school, she made the leap into fashion design and dressmaking during the pandemic lockdown.

THE BEGINNINGS AS A DESIGNER

With the desire to be a designer who is knowledgeable about the ins and outs of how a garment is designed and made, she patiently finished two courses at the Slim’s Fashion and Arts School: (1) Diploma in Advanced Fashion Design and Illustration and (2) Dressmaking.

Prior to this, she was awarded scholarships by Yellowbrick to take two courses at Parsons School of Design | The New School. She has earned certifications for: (1) Fashion Industry Essentials and (2) Fashion Business Essentials.

WHAT CLOTHES MEAN

She view the clothes that she puts on to have a personal meaning to her; a medium by which she presents herself to the world. Whether it's something to wear for her birthday, for a work presentation, or an occasion she will attend, she makes an effort to find something appropriate and in line with her personal style.

These translate into her work. The QUIERO Bespoke Experience is a collaboration between the designer and the wearer, with the objective of the clothes and its details (no matter how small) to be special to the wearer and how she too presents herself to the world.

BEFORE THE FASHION WORLD

In 2021, McKinsey and Company has selected her to be part of that year’s batch of Next Generation Women Leaders Asia-Pacific.

From 2015-2019, she worked in a multinational company, transitioning from a Corporate Management Trainee for Marketing into a Creative Services Operations Executive. Her focus was on operations, marketing, and advertising.

In 2015, she graduated from De La Salle University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management. She graduated at the top 5% of the Marketing graduating batch, with an Honorable Mention and an award for Outstanding Thesis Excellence in Marketing.

OUTSIDE OFFICE HOURS

When she’s not in the atelier, you can find her getting lost in the pages of a book or catching up on a series with her husband.
